Royal Doulton Atlanta 5-Piece Dinnerware Place Setting, Service for 1 Feature

• 10-inch dinner plate, 8-inch salad/dessert plate, 6-1/4-inch side plate, tea cup and saucer
• Blue and white cloud-like borders imprinted with Greek key motif
• Platinum edging; Langdale shape
• Bone china for strength, bright white color
• Dishwasher-safe; safe for warming at low temperatures

This unique dinnerware pattern has its roots in Ancient Greece but splashes of rich cobalt blue take the Atlanta collection from classic to contemporary. This single place setting includes a 10-inch dinner plate, an 8-inch salad/dessert plate, a 6-1/4-inch side plate, a 5-3/4-inch tea saucer, and a tea cup. All pieces feature cloudy blue-and-white borders imprinted with the Greek key design in silver. Platinum edging and trim complements the blue tones and creates a beautiful palette on which to serve a formal meal.

Atlanta dinnerware is made of bone china--fine china that has had bone ash added to the clay to produce a true white color--which is considered the strongest and most prestigious type due to its eighteenth century English origins. This place setting is also made in the Langdale shape, a vintage dinnerware style with smooth, clean lines introduced by and used to describe many of Royal Doulton's china patterns. All pieces are safe for light warming (up to 100 degrees Celsius) in the oven and for the dishwasher at low temperatures to avoid harming the platinum trim. This place setting coordinates with a whole series of Atlanta collection pieces. --Cristina Vaamonde

Royal Doulton Enchantment 5-Piece Bone China Place Setting, Service for 1 Feature

• 5-piece Enchantment place setting for elegant dining
• 1 each: 10-3/4-inch dinner plate, 8-1/4-inch salad plate, 6-inch bread plate, 6-3/4-ounce footed teacup, saucer
• Made of fine bone china trimmed with gleaming platinum
• Modern floral design in taupe textured with creamy-white raised beads
• Dishwasher-safe, air drying recommended

Enchantment lives up to its name with a freshly compelling, asymmetrical splash of flowers across pure bone china. Each taupe blossom is textured with raised petal edges and creamy beads, while longer strings of beads delicately arc across the borders. Last but not least, bands of luxurious platinum add the crowning touch. Enchantment embodies the modern approach to dining, one that is neither too formal nor too casual, making this an appropriate pattern for just about any special occasion.

This single place setting forms the basis of a complete set and includes one of each of the following: 10-3/4-inch dinner plate, 8-1/4-inch salad plate, 6-inch bread-and-butter plate, 6-3/4-ounce footed teacup, and matching saucer. The bone china is conveniently dishwasher-safe, preferably with a lemon detergent, and Royal Doulton recommends air drying so as not to soften the platinum during a heat setting. Enchantment serving pieces complement the dinnerware, the availability of which is guaranteed by Royal Doulton for up to two years from the time of purchase. --Ann Bieri
