In true Versace fashion, Medusa gold-plated flatware sets a sumptuous and uninhibited table. While the shape of the pieces is fairly traditional, the rounded handle ends are embellished with the sculpted Medusa head designed by Gianni Versace that has become the Versace icon. Each of the five pieces in this place setting--a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, and teaspoon--is constructed of high-quality stainless steel that has been solidly plated with 999-carat gold (except for the blade of the knife). A Greek motif band outlines each handle for exquisite detail.

A perfect accompaniment to gold-trimmed Medusa porcelain dinnerware, the Medusa flatware collection also complements other formal dinnerware patterns and consists of an extensive range of serving items. The finest cutlery was decorated by Versace with the head of the Medusa and meandering bands, the unique and ingenious motifs of the Milan studio. All items are solidly gold-plated with 999 carat fine gold.
