Noritake's emphatically formal Crestwood Platinum dinnerware creates a beautiful table year-round with classic materials and an ornate design. The pattern starts with a base of translucent white porcelain that is delicate in shape but durable enough for confident use. A broad band of platinum borders each piece. This accent features a softly frosted background etched with a gleaming pattern of tiny geometric borders and flowing, interwoven flourishes. Solid bands frame the design and two interior bands contribute an added touch of refinement.

With 20 pieces in all, the set includes four place settings, each with a 10-1/2-inch dinner plate, an 8-1/4-inch salad/dessert plate, a 6-1/2-inch bread and butter plate, a 6-inch saucer, and a footed teacup. The teacup is especially lovely, with platinum accents on the foot, body, rim, and handle sides. All pieces are safe in the dishwasher.
